You are invited to our ALS United Rocky Mountain ‘Living with ALS’ Educational Symposium, which is being held in partnership with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. This virtual event was created to inform, empower, and connect individuals and families affected by ALS, as well as caregivers, friends, and healthcare professionals dedicated to supporting this community. This symposium is designed to provide valuable insights and the latest information for those navigating ALS, offering practical advice, expert-led discussions, and a meaningful opportunity to unite with others on a similar journey.

Our keynote speakers: Dr. Hsien Seow and Dr. Sammy Winemaker

Keynote Presentation: Dr. Sammy Winemaker and Dr. Hsien Seow, creators of The Waiting Room Revolution and authors of Hope for the Best, Plan for the Rest. Learn how to enhance the patient and family experience through honest and timely conversations about care and planning.

Dr. Dave Stevens, Neurologist, presenting on non-pharmacological interventions that make a significant impact in ALS care, from physical therapy and BiPAP to feeding tubes and speech augmentation devices.

Linda Levine, respected caregiving expert, offers compassionate, realistic strategies and insights for those supporting loved ones living with ALS.

Latest ALS Research Updates, featuring representatives from Access for ALL in ALS Consortium (ALL ALS). This is a community of two coordination centers and 35 research sites across the United States, conducting a combined longitudinal natural history study and biomarker collection study for ALS. They will be sharing opportunities for involvement in clinical and observational studies.
