Educational Event: Navigating End-of-Life Care with Compassion and Support

Join us for a special educational event with Vanessa Johnston, a local death doula and the co-founder and Vice-President of the Colorado End of Life Collaborative, a statewide nonprofit dedicated to compassionate care and education for those facing life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones.

Vanessa will share insight into the role of death doulas, grief counselors, Celebrants, and other end-of-life practitioners, and how they work alongside palliative care and hospice providers to offer holistic, person-centered care. She’ll also address common obstacles families may encounter when accessing these services — and how to navigate them.

This event is open to anyone living with ALS, their families, and caregivers. We hope you’ll join us for this thoughtful, supportive conversation about preparing for and honoring life’s final chapter with dignity and care.
