Denver Support Group Meeting:

The ALS United Rocky Mountain organization is dedicated to making a profound impact on the lives of those affected by ALS. Our Highlands Ranch ALS Support Group meeting, scheduled for the third Saturday of each month, offers a welcoming space for individuals diagnosed with ALS, caregivers, and family members to come together. This event encapsulates our mission of providing support and resources to the ALS community, emphasizing the importance of unity and shared experiences in navigating the challenges posed by ALS. Attendees will have the opportunity to exchange personal stories, access valuable resources for living with ALS, and learn about the latest in ALS research and advocacy efforts. Our aim is to empower each participant with knowledge, support, and hope.

Support groups provide opportunities to share personal experiences and to learn more about living with ALS. Meetings are open to all patients, family, and concerned others. They are designed to share information as well as strategies for preserving the independence and quality of life of both people with ALS and their caregivers, and address the social, emotional and mental challenges of living with this disease.

An email reminder will be sent to support group members with the Zoom link and instructions on how to join within a week prior to each group. If you have questions or need the link, please contact the care coordinator.
