The Northern Colorado Support Group for ALS patients and caregivers offers a sanctuary for sharing experiences, advice, and encouragement. Scheduled fourth Tuesday of every month, at ALS United Rocky Mountain, this gathering is vital for those affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis in the region. It’s an opportunity not only to receive guidance from ALS experts but also to foster connections with others navigating similar challenges. By attending, participants can explore a range of resources tailored to their needs, from navigating symptoms and diagnosis to understanding the latest in ALS research and clinical trials. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, a long-term fighter, or a dedicated caregiver, this event is designed to empower you with knowledge and support.

Support groups provide opportunities to share personal experiences and to learn more about living with ALS. Meetings are open to all patients, family, and concerned others. They are designed to share information as well as strategies for preserving the independence and quality of life of both people with ALS and their caregivers, and address the social, emotional and mental challenges of living with this disease.
