December 3 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm An event every month that begins at 3:00 pm on day First of the month, repeating indefinitely
ALS affects the entire family with changes that can be challenging, stressful and at times frightening. Talking about it sometimes helps, as does having useful information on what to expect. The support group is an essential tool in helping people with ALS and their caregivers, families, and friends live with this disease.
Enhancing Caregiver Wellness & Resources:
The Utah Caregiver Support Group at ALS United Rocky Mountain is a cornerstone for those navigating the journey of caring for loved ones with ALS. Scheduled for every first Tuesday of the month, this event is more than a meeting; it’s a lifeline to understanding, resources, and community connection. Caregivers play a crucial role in the ALS journey, and finding the right support can transform the caregiving experience. These sessions offer a platform to share experiences, access expert advice, and learn about new resources available for caregivers within the ALS community. From managing daily challenges to addressing emotional and physical well-being, our aim is to enrich the lives of caregivers through comprehensive support and enlightenment. Participate to find strength in shared experiences and to gather invaluable tools for your caregiving journey.
This is a Utah Caregiver Only Support Group this group provides the opportunity for caregivers to connect and share their personal experiences. They are not alone nor without help or hope. Meetings are free and are designed to share information as well as strategies for caregivers.
