ALS Grief Support and Community Connection

Morning Gathering:  Friday, September 5, from 9 am – 10 am

The journey of healing after loss is deeply personal, yet shared experiences can be profoundly comforting. Our virtual support groups provide a dedicated space for those grieving ALS-related losses to connect with others who understand this unique pain. Through guided discussions and mutual support, participants find solace in knowing they’re not alone in their grief journey. The virtual format ensures accessibility regardless of location or mobility.

Mary King, our experienced Bereavement Program Coordinator, facilitates these weekly sessions with compassion and expertise. Each gathering focuses on creating a safe environment where memories can be shared and emotions processed without judgment. The morning time slot offers a gentle start to the day, helping participants carry renewed strength into their daily lives. These virtual bereavement groups have become vital lifelines for many navigating ALS grief support.

We recognize that caregiver bereavement involves unique challenges after the intense journey of supporting a loved one with ALS. Our specialized approach addresses these complex emotions through tailored discussions and therapeutic activities. Participants often discover new coping strategies while honoring their loved ones’ legacies alongside others who truly comprehend this specific type of loss. This shared understanding fosters deep connections and collective healing.

To join our compassionate community, contact Mary King at careservices@alsrockymountain.org or call 303.832.2322 ext. 202. We welcome anyone affected by ALS loss, including family members and caregivers. Together, we’ll navigate the path toward peace and renewed hope through supportive connection and professional guidance.
